There is a real place in Santa Cruz, California called "The Mystery Spot." The CD has a song called "Postcard from the Mystery Spot," but it wasn't written there and the song is more about unexplainable days than particular places.

The "Postcard" CD came out in 2002 and features some of the same great musicians as the "Salam Pax (Peace)" CD, including Stef Burns on guitars and Curtis Ohlson on bass. The songs were written to last-- classic styles, timeless themes. Check out "The Mystery Spot" here.

It is available through CD Baby or can be purchased right here using the buttons below.

If you would like to order it along with "Salam/Pax (Peace)", please use the "Add Both To Cart" button below.

"Undo the Invasion/Donate"

One reason for the "Salam Pax (Peace)" project is to help "un-do the invasion"-- to try to fix what's broken, heal the wounds, and encourage a brighter and more harmonious future. Toward that end, half of all profits from the CD/DVD will go to help those who have suffered from the invasion of Iraq-- both Iraqi citizens and American service men and women and their families.

If you want to help in other ways, you can DONATE directly to CIVIC, the Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict (www.civicworldwide.org) or the American Friends Service Committee (www.afsc.org), two organizations that are working to relieve suffering caused by the war.
